Frequently Asked Questions

I'm engaged, what do I do next?

Hire a wedding planner, you will thank yourself later! When working with your wedding planner, rely on their experience and expertise to help guide you through the process. Ask questions, and pick their brain on vendors, timeline, etc.

How early should I start to plan/hire a wedding planner?

The wedding industry is booming... venues, and vendors are booking a year, if not two years in advance, so don't wait. Ideally, 9-12 months prior to the wedding date is a good time to get serious with the planning. You don't want to wait until the last minute and feel overwhelmed, but you also don't want to be planning for too long. However, hire your wedding planner ASAP, that way they can truly guide you from your engagement through to your wedding.

How do I sort through all the information that is out there?

It's overwhelming, we've been in your shoes. The moment a bride gets engaged, she's surrounded by well-meaning friends and family who are suddenly experts in wedding traditions and etiquette. It's a lot of advice, and a lot opinions, but remember to stay true to you. Wedding guests know you, either as individuals or as a couple, and as long as the wedding reflects who you are, it will brim with love.

How much does a wedding cost?

Every wedding is different! No two weddings are alike, just as no two couples are alike, nor are two wedding budgets alike. We encourage you to determine an amount in which you feel is reasonable - a place within your comfort zone, financially. Know who is paying for what, and confirm those details. From there, we will work with you and that number to develop and design a wedding that is right for YOU!

What type of packages do you offer?

Full Service Planning is our most popular, it's for the couple who wants full planning, and guidance from start to finish. We also offer Month of Coordination, for the couple who has planned their wedding day, but deservers someone to coordinate all the moving parts.

How much are your packages?

Click here to determine which package best suites your needs, price varies based on the package. I strive to keep my pricing competitive and affordable, because I truly want every bride to be given the chance to hire a wedding planner.

Tell me more about giving back.

animals have my heart

No matter the day, or how you look they will always greet you with a wet kiss. Having two adopted dogs myself, and being heavily involved with my local humane society, I see far too many animals not given their second chance at life. Whether they can't get adopted due to an underlying medical condition that adopters overlook, or the shelter is full so there is the possibility of getting euthanized  or they come in such a sever state the there are not enough funds to cover the medical care needed to get them to the adoptable stage. It's in my heart to save as many lives as possible, so with each wedding booked, a donation will be made to a non-profit animal organization helping make a difference with animals in need.

Do you offer additional services other than coordination?

Absolutely, when you inquire you we will fill you in on all the details.

Do you work with vendors we select, or only those that you recommend?

We work with all vendors, both new and familiar faces. However, we will provide you with our preferred vendors list, to help guide you in your search, and make a decision.

Do you take on more than one wedding per day?

No, our priority and focus is on YOU! We limit ourselves to one wedding per week/weekend.

Do we get to meet you?

Of course, after you inquire and if we're available we will schedule a consultation to answer questions, and determine if we're a great fit for one another. If local, we will schedule an in-person meeting, or if you're out of town and/or not comfortable meeting in person, we will schedule a FaceTime/Zoom call.

What is the difference between a Wedding Planner and Venue Coordinator?

A venue coordinator works for the venue, not you. Remember JLo's famous role in  the movie 'The Wedding Planner' where she planned e-v-e-r-y- detail, that's the job of a wedding planner. A wedding planner will guide the couple through the planning process from A to Z - from setting a budget to keeping Aunt Mary away from Uncle Todd. Your wedding planner will answer your questions, schedule and attend vendor meetings, help with event design, create a detailed timeline, and oversee the execution of your wedding day. On the other hand, a venue coordinator's job is important as well, they ensure everything taking place at the venue is in order. The venue coordinator usually enjoys organizing weddings, but does not have the responsibility of handling all matters for the couple - they're simply there on-site to assist the couple and wedding planner during the process with all details relating to the venue. Often venue coordinators are not limited to weddings alone, so unfortunately their biggest focus isn't you and your wedding day, as they are working on multiple events within the same week, if not day. It's also important to note that venues are known to have high turnover among the coordinator/sales position. The person that you booked your wedding with may or may not still be there when it comes time for your wedding 6 months, or a year later, but your wedding planner, is hired by YOU, hand selected by YOU, and won't be going anywhere. Just remember, a venue coordinator is looking out for the venue's best interests, a wedding planner is looking out for YOUR best interests.
